Brad Whitford (full name Bradley Ernest Whitford; born February 23, 1952, in Winchester, MA) is the guitarist for Aerosmith, and playable character in Guitar Hero Aerosmith. He must be bought at the vault(store) before becoming playable the game.

Whitford attended the Berklee College of Music. After gradutating, he played in many local bands before joining Aerosmith. In 1981, following less successful Aerosmith albums, Whitford left Aerosmith to start his own project. After the failure of the first album, the project was dissolved. He rejoined Aerosmith in 1984, and completed drug rehabillitation with the rest of the band. Today, he remains active with Aerosmith.
