Performance Mode is a cheat in the Guitar Hero series. When activated, all interfaces including the highway, notes, score, multiplier, Rock Meter etc. are removed from screen, revealing only the stage. This is a difficult way to play songs as the player must needs to have memorized the song's note charts and the timing of each note.
